The weather should be cooperating on Sunday. Thought I might get out to the Deerfield. Can I trust the release schedule?

Early morning and late afternoons are usually low water conditions. It's going to be a great weekend for the Deerfield.

Joe, I just sent about a dozen guys to your favorite spot. Say hello for me! -Just kidding.
Actually, i thought it was supposed to pour rain this weekend, which could muddy and raise the water level. Did you hear a different report?
Down here in South County, the water is not low, but it's lower for this time of the year since there's no snow melt.

I hope the rain holds off. It's 5:30am on Saturday and I'm getting ready to head up to the C&R.

www.h2oline.com/Ma.aspCan you trust it? No. Or 'trust but verify'... The power company decides to run or not run water based on $$$. If the price goes up -and this changes constantly- and they have the water, they run it.

Yeah, we got shafted on the water release today. I didn't see one schedules but they released it anyway. Killed a good hatch...

I'm ho[ping 'they' will not repeat tomorrow. I'm planning on heading out early Sunday morning (2+ hr drive). I didn't get out there all last year so am pretty excited about hitting it tomorrow. Keepin' my fingers crossed!

Joe,
What time did they start releasing water? When I left you I headed down stream for about another hour of fishing.

I think it was around 9am. Did you have any luck?

I got a nice 16" brown in the lower C&R. Not a whole lot of action.... They either didn't stock the whole river or the fish were not aclimated to the water yet.
