Trout Stocking in Berkshire County hasn't started yet. The State plans on begining the stocking sometime this week or next.
Unless you see a stocking truck pass you on the highway, you'll here it here first.

Hay Joe! Its me! What do you do? Follow the truck around and watch them dump liver Fed "trout" in the holes then look down and say boy look at all the Fish? That must be challenging! I hope they dump all of them in some pond. North pond is good then all the kids could have fun catching them all before they die! The green river is good to place to lots of worm dunker's can get them their thats weir the stocked fish should be! You don't even need the right fly to get those fish just splash a good pellet fly! On the water no problem! Ha! Ha! HI wintershope! Tim Personally a am thinking springshope! Today is the Vernal Equinox YEA!!!!!! Get Ready! ;D Just kidding Joe! I don't like socked fish so sue me! Hey Tim!
Yeah, I used to hate the stockers too. I just don't care anymore though. It's been a long winter and I just to bend my rod.
The only ones I get excited about are those Tiger Trout and the large Brookies.

Here on the east coast of are state I watched the stocking truck at Plea sent Pond today. It was around 10am. There were at least a dozen worm guy's waiting with their 2 rods. It was funny to see. They were pacing like expecting parents! LOL. As soon as the truck left it was a joke. I was just there to see if the ice was gone but I got to see the show too.
