Gene Chague, in the Eagle, 6/2/13, reports that a Simon's Rock student had identified Didymo in the Green River, G. Barrington. No public announcement as of press time but signs had been posted on the river.
Sad to say, but I suspect that once it gets into a given region, it is just a matter of time before it is spread to all the watersheds in that region.
It may be a loosing battle but I will continue to clean, check and dry my non felt gear.
