Yesterday I broke out the 4wt and headed down to Lee for a bit. Got down early and saw no one else on the river. Fished my usual spot and had a hard time finding fish. Mixed up the presentations and ended up landing a nice fat brown and lost another one at the net.

If your not cape bound over a future weekend, give me a yell or send me a message if your interested in getting out again early in the morning or late in the evening sometime. If Dan's baseball doesn't get in the way, for the most part I'm game anytime. I went up to the hydro electric plant in Monroe Bridge Ma. for a service call this past week. There were many guys wading the head waters of the deerfield @ around 8:00am, so keep this in mind if your interested heading up there. It looked really good, and the water release helps regulate & cool the river temp. We can check the release times. Or hit the Chesterfield Gorge area of the Westfield River. (Just a thought) Anyway, good to hear you got out..........Phil

Going to the cape saturday for a week. May be one night this week? I can usually get out around 3pm if I know ahead of time. Supposed to be cloudy all week so I'd be up for trying the deerfield. Call me if your interested.
