My dad had to sell his condo in Stockbridge (just getting too old, sigh), which means I've lost my MA fishing base. That used to get me out to your neck of the woods a few times a year, which would normally trigger my participation on this board. I do miss fishing in the Berkshires. I'm still doing wildtroutstreams.com. Actually expanded it quite a bit, so if you're heading out west to fish for Native Trout, there's a ton of information about them. Another big change in the website is that we've shifted from pdf maps to KMLs and KMZs you can load into Google Earth. Note everything on the site is free, and there is no advertising. Recently, I noticed that the MA DFW is publishing a list of coldwater streams on its website. These are streams where their survey work confirms the presence of coldwater species. Their list is kind of useless: just a stream name and an ID number. We were able to map them all and produce a KMZ you can download. It's not all that interesting for the Berkshires (since most streams are coldwater), but it gets a lot more interesting as you head east, where fewer and fewer streams are cold. You can download it here: wildtroutstreams.com/index.php/download-ma/viewdownload/5-massachusetts/195-ma-coldwater-fishery-resources
