The club lives on although with a smaller membership.
We have been having some informal get togethers at the Waconah CC. One of our members, Henry, works there and they have been wonderful about letting us use the hall. Usually it is only two or four or five of us. We do some show and tell, Henry is also a fan of the bamboo rod and vintage reels. A few weeks ago we did a bit of fly tying and pizza. Last summer we fished the river ( Housey it think) as it flows through the golf course.
For the most part, the club exists by virtue of this forum. Sometimes the posts are a bit infrequent but if we get some fishing time I think things will pick up a bit. If the rivers are in good shape I think you might see a river side get together before too long.
