Hi Guys,
I've been fishing the Hoosic a lot since I moved to the area last year, and I love it. Unfortunately, though, my love has come at a steep price: 75 percent of my gear. I was fishing in North Adams a couple of weeks ago and in a moment of unforgivable absent-mindedness left my rod and chestpack by the side of the road. The pack just happened to have my two best reels in it--a pair of Billy Pate "Trout" reels given to me by an elderly relative--and all the trout flies I've tied over the past 3-4 years. The rod was my favorite, a Grey's 10 ft 4 wt Streamflex. Anyway, the pack had my name in it, so I guess if the person who picked it up wanted to return it, they would have by now. (Checked with the police; no luck). But just in case any of you hear anything, I thought I'd post. I'm offering a reward.
