Well, at least it will help swell the rivers and cool them down as well. Maybe this weekend I'll wet a line, which will be the 1st time since the beginning of June.

YES!! RAIN!!
And it is 'bout time too.
I have been watching the USGS station on the Hoosic. Before all this, it had been running 60--> 70 CFS, -- it went over 1300 last night -- but now it is down to high 300's. What a roller coaster ride. My guess is that it will be fishable Thurs. AM. if we don't get any more rain.
There is a chance of T-storms Thurs + Fri. and again late Sat. --- So as soon as your river can be fished, best to get right out there. If you snooze you'll loose.

This evening the Hoosic dropped below 200CFS.
Tomorrow I will be on the water at O-dark:Thirty.
