Greetings to all,
Since I seem to be the only active administrator and since we seem to only have a few active members, I thought I might trim down the number of sub boards.
It appears that we have more sub boards than active members.
Some of the sub boards have never had enough posts to make double digits.
Some of the sub boards have been inactive for many years.
Most of the recent posts are on only a few sub boards.
This creates a situation where a post to the less active sub boards become less visible after the "yesterdays post" headline passes. This is not good. I think all of us who are still active would like to keep up with every post made.
So-- I thought I might "hide" some of the less active posts excepting the ones which have a certain importance, such as the Didymo board.
From my perspective posts re: tackle talk, repair and building, etc. might be more effective if they were on the General Discussion board.
BUT -- This is not MY board. This is OUR board. So I am seeking your input on this.
Do you favor this?
Are there any boards which you would favor eliminating?
Are there any which you would favor keeping?
By "hiding" the sub boards they will seem to be eliminated but they can always be revived if there is interest.
Let me know your thoughts and I will try to comply with the general consensus.
