Had a great evening just below Fife dam sunday night. Massive Caddis hatch. Tried a bunch of different dries, nothing. Switched over to tan emergers 16's and hooked up one after another. I will try to upload some pictures soon. Water was low, temp was 56 degrees weather was overcast.

Nice Henry!! Man, its beautiful right in that spot on the Fife.
Hey, do you know what time the water discharge was from the dam? I'm just thinking/asking for maybe a future trip up there.....Phil

Hi Phil,
They usually let the water loose around 9 or 10am and stop it around 3 or 4 pm. I didn't start fishing until around 6pm and it was perfect.
Early morning or in the evening is best.

Nice report. I finally got over there with my son for a few hours this past week and we caught some nice bows and browns as well. They stocked some pretty good sized ones too. Took a movie of my son's first casts of the morning on his way to a trout. Kinda dark - before sunrise. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUsAuyW4V0YAs far as the season, not much to report on this end. High waters, bad weather, family stuff has left the trips few and far between. Have a wedding to go to in Quechee VT soon so I'm going to try the White - never been up there before. Bart
