Fished the Battenkill in NY this weekend. Got a few hours in on Sat. and a few more on Sun. No significant hatch of anything but there were a few caddis coming off now and then.
Soft hackle wet flies, fished just under the surface and fished with a bit of motion caught a nice handful of hatchery browns. Color did not matter but weighted flies of the same patterns got no action.
