Another quick morning out.

I woke up this morning with no intentions of going fly fishing, but after a excellent morning yesterday, I couldn't resist. I headed out @ 7:00 AM and finished around 9:15 AM when Doc met me @ the river and we went for breakfast. I bagged four with three being cookie cutter Browns, and the other one with it being the smallest which I believe is a wild brown. I had several missed hits. I used the same productive prince fly patterns.

But what two great mornings with perfect air and water temps. ;D

Thanks Henry, yes they're beauties.
That spot is a great little place. Its a perfect spot when you don't have a lot of time, and its usually always good for a few. I actually went by there this afternoon just to scope it out, and with the rain last night, the water level is high and badly stained. I was actually thinking of hitting it tomrrow morning, but because of the height I may hold off a day or so.
I don't mind the rain because we actually really needed it. If we can get a nice soaking rain once or twice a week, it would really help keep the rivers up for the summer.
