Spent yesterday with my family at the Zoar rd picnic area. Air Temp. 74 Water Temp 58. Thousands of light caddis hatching all day long. I did not see any fish rising. They must have been gorging on the rising pupas. I didn't get to fish, but it was just great spending the day with my family along the river and watching the massive hatch.

Henry, its beautiful up there anyway you look at it.
I service the hydro electric plant up stream at Monroe Bridge, and its one of my most favorite service calls to due just because of the atmosphere.....Phil

Deffinatly a great area. Sarah and I just got back from camping at the Mohawk State Forest this weekend. I fished the area just above where the Cold river meets up with the Deerfield down to the train trestle.
And yes, the caddis hatch was great! Sarah came with me on Saturday and got a couple good pics. I will have to upload them when I get home.
