Hi Everyone,
I am heading to the Deerfield river and will get there around 2pm tomorrow. I will be parked at the Zoar Rd. picnic area at that time. If anyone would like to join me, I have a red Subaru Outback with a Massachusetts trout license plate. I also have a TU sticker and a Berkshire Fly Fishing sticker on the back drivers side window. The flow is always a challenge on the Deerfield, but I have improvised and fished different areas depending on the flow. I will probably fish until around 5pm, then I have to head to NH.

Henry, how did you do on the Deerfield river yesterday?

Hi Phil,
I could barely get into the river. It was cranking with all the rain and snow we had. Also, the water temp. was 41 degrees, not ideal.
I threw a line in a few different places, no luck. Beats working though.
I look forward to getting down to the Housy catch and release section with you and Mike sometime in May.

Henry, your correct about a bad day fly fishing is better then a good day at work. I myself haven't been out fishing at all yet, though I'm sure 6wt and myself will be doing that as soon as the rivers around here are fish-able. Hopefully they should be getting that way soon, and I'll/we'll keep you in mind. Historically, if we head out on a weekend day, it works for us early in the AM. Sometimes during the week we'll do it after work if it works out. Anyway, good hearing from you and we'll be in touch........Phil
