Deanh, asked me if I had access to the backside of this board in hope that I might be able to send out a blanket e-mail to our listed members, re: this Sun.
I am technically a moderator but have never felt that this group ever needed any moderation. So -- I don't know anything about it. But I will find out.
I am looking into a few things and may be able to get inside the system. If I succeed, I may be able to use some of the site features to help keep the group active.
I suspect that there are only a small handful of us that are still active on this board. I also get the impression that every one of us is interested in nearly every post. Just so that nothing gets lost in one of the sub boards, lets just post everything on the "General" board. That way we are meeting all at the same place.

I spoke to Joe today and he set me up as an Administrator. I sent out a short e-mail to everyone who has listed an address with the board. If you don't get one, first, please check your profile and be certain that you have an e-mail listed ( it is OK if it is hidden). If you are listed and you didn't get an e-mail, please let me know.
Now that I am an Administrator, I would like to assure everyone that I will conduct myself in this new office with the same sense of fervour that I displayed as Moderator.

20 users on the board today. That's the way to get things rolling. I hope that we get a few new fishermen at our get together Sunday. The weather sounds iffy, but good for fishing.
I have a few other toys to show you that I didn't bring to the last get together.

The weather looks a bit iffy, rain Saturday and Saturday night, tapering off Sun morning but improving as the day goes on. Possible showers for the afternoon. How does the river look for fishing?

hey - great hearing from this board... i watched and commented freqently a while back but then wierd things were happening - like i could not post.... so i kinda gave up.... i really enjoy the site even though i'm from way out in royalston..... i'll check more regularly now..

Kudos to you, Kim!
Hopefully we get some continued interest and we rebuild some 'critical mass'. The club is what we make of it.
I can't thank our club enough for everything I've gained as a result - the relationships and camaraderie, bamboo rod building and fly tying mentoring, new fishing spots and techniques, etc. -Truly fantastic.
I look forward to getting together again very soon.
