Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone was interested in getting together some Sunday in March. We could have a little show and tell with antique equipment, tie some flies and meet each other perhaps over a cocktail. I would offer Wahconah Country Club as a meeting place.

I am looking forward to this. It has been a long winter. Let's spread the word. Not everyone keeps a tight watch on this board so let's send e-mails make phone calls and let folks know. I'll bring some bamboo and older reels and if we have a place to do it, maybe we might do some lawn casting. AgMD

Henry, Perhaps a mention to the outdoor editor of the Berk. Eagle. Might get us some advance publicity and attract some new folks. They are usually looking for outdoor stories, particularly at this time of year when we are between snow and summer sports. AgMD

Henry and 6wt,
sure I might be interested in joining everyone that chimed in. Though my son plays travel Basketball, and unless there is a tournament some place or something that my war dept hasn't informed me about yet, it sounds good. It could be a nice ice breaker after a long and snowy winter.
Tight lines...........DRYFLYPHIL

6wt, hsweren and AgMD,
Thanks for the pleasant company and the Fly Fishing Chitchat today at BCFF gathering at WCC. I also admired the cane rods that you both brought as well.
It was fun, so lets do it again in the near future.......DRYFLYPHIL

6wt, dryflyphil, and agMD
It was great to meet all of you and talk flyfishing. I will set up another get together some Sunday in April before the fishing season starts.
Thanks for the discussions on some great fishing spots.
I went on the internet today and found the directions to tie the dry fly you suggested and tied a few on a #14 dry fly hook. We'll have to test them out this year on the housy.
agMD: Thanks for bringing all the toys. I especially liked the Lee Wulff Bamboo rod and the Bougle reproduction reel.

An excellent time! Henry -- thanks for making this happen. I wish we had weather that would have allowed casting some of your rods. Perhaps next time. It was excellent meeting all of you and since the only thing better than talking fishing is going fishing-- it was wonderful. Phil -- thanks for the pix of the Ausable Bomber -- I can see the Wulff influence. AgMD
