Last night I couldn't meet up with 6wt & his outing on the Housi.
But tonight I ended up with about an hour and a half of free time on my hands. I wasn't going to go because its was a little windy, and me & my dry flies don't appreciate that stuff, but I did end up going.
When I first arrived, I saw one sipping bugs off the top. The second cast of my #14 Blonde wulff, and your standard run of the mill 13" Housatonic brown sipped that off the top as well. Nice fish, very bright colors.
I fished down to Phil's rock, but that was the only top action that I saw. The Housi is like bath water, and pretty low. A good rain would be welcome & well over due.
