Leaving for the green river in an hour with my two oldest boys, 13 and 12. Fish flaming gorge till Sunday, hop on a plane monday, land at logan, drive to pittsburg NH fish all week. Then headed to Chatham for some not so fun commercial fishing mixed in with some weekday trips to the berkshires for the month of may......Can't think of a better way to avoid spring run-off in Colorado!!

Well the green was amazing, snowed the whole time I was there. Fishing was stellar, camping sucked! Packing a 3, 4, 5, and 8wt for the east coast. Leaving tonight, hope the fishing's good!!

what is up with the state of mass these days? Broke out my rod at a spot in south natick. 10 minutes later as I'm getting ready to walk down to the river, FIVE that's 5 police cars have surrounded my folk's car and are asking me to surrender my shotgun!! I pulled out my Scott rod tube and said you mean this?

That's Massachusetts for you!
I actually grew up & spent my first 35 years of my life about 19 miles north of Natick until I moved to Pittsfield. And yes I don't miss it!!!!
Just the experiences of living everyday out east, and putting up with the everyday turmoil's of those happening's such as what happened to you. Just hearing those stories like what you told us, reminds me of why I moved.
Anyway, hope all worked out...................Phil

Pittsburg was amazing, lots of salmon, some brookies and Tons of whitefish and suckers, who cares though i was on vacation. I will absolutely go back. Thinking about hitting one of the diamond rivers or up there, or the rapid in maine, after a job interview in wolfsboro on tues.

Schoolies are all over sound side of Cape. Killer week in Chatham. I might finally fish chesterfield gorge this week.

Headed to the westfield today. Just took a job in wolfboro, NH. Should probably be house hunting or stream hunting up there, but I've been looking forward to hitting westfield since January.
