Hey All, Long time no original post...it's amazing how having a few kids can mess with fishing time , but I managed to schedule a work day in the Berkshires last week and made sure to leave a good amount of time between appointments . First stop was on the way out west on the Farmington. Sure, it's stocked and this section of the river will be piss warm soon enough, but it was still fun. At least I managed one wild fish there-small but probably the prettiest fish of the day. I moved further west and I bet some of you know where this pic was taken. I'd almost forgotten how much fun river smallies are. This guy was holding along the same bank. They were all sipping a weak caddis hatch, but buggers tend to draw interest. Still feel like my waders are dissolving around me in that river. Finally stopped in the Westfield on the way home. There were some fish there too. Next Berkshire fishing work trip should be on the 12th. Hope this cool weather holds.
