I spoke with the Midwest sales rep yesterday at "The Fly Fishing Show" yesterday and he stated that the rumors of their changes recently posted on flyfisherman.com which I passed along are not accurate.
What they are planning on doing is to combine their Signature line with the base grade line of hooks, take all the attributes of the Signature Line (i.e. chemically sharpened, more consistant wire diameters, hook lengths/gaps, etc... and offer them at the "base grade" line of hooks price points with a small increase due to packaging considerations. The packaging will have both the Signature Line and the base grade line model numbers on them for easy cross reference. They will also be phasing out 100 packs and offering 25 and 50.
