After druging threw the snow and fighting wind and the little snow sqalls,I made to the river and found an open spot to fish.It really wasnt so much the trout that brought me there, but the incureabe half crazzed SHACK NASTIES to get out and do some thing. The water was a little dirty from snow melt and I felt that there really wasnt a big chance of doing much. But I went threw the motions any how.In the end it was a size 8 flash back hares ear and a bobber that toke the 13 inch brown trout. It was all good and I walked away from the river a happy camper knowing that there will be a spring.hopefully soon.hail to the fly fisher men.

Congrats and a size 8 Hares Ear is huge. Sounds like you stole from your Steelhead box.
