I took my eleven year old and her friend icefishing on Plainfield Pond this morning/afternoon. It's the earliest I've ever gone.
There was 3 & 1/2 inches of ice. We had tons of tip ups, and the girls managed to land about 8 pickerel - - one of which pretty darn good size. All in all, a successful trip.
