Pretty quiet on this board.
I fished the SR last Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday was a good day for me and went 4 for 16. Wednesday I gambled and went to another Lake O trib and went 0 for 0. I made it back to the SR on the way home and finished the day 0 for 3. Next trip I'll be bringing a camera and will try to post some picture. Most of the fish took an orange estaz fly I tied, which made everything even more enjoyable. If your dieing to catch some trout the SR is only 3.5 hours away from the berkshires.

Nice!
The Salmon area is getting pounded with lake effect snow right now... That's real Steelheading weather. Break out the Polar Fleece!

Thanks for the report 6WT. I wanted to go this week but way too many things going on to get away for a whole day. I have to admit I've placed the fly rod aside for a week and my son and I are stalking the darkness locally for some nice walleyes. Orange? I never did that well for steelies with orange. Browns were another story. Mark, Pulaski did indeed get some lake effect. I always knew it was steelhead time when it was so cold your frozen waders would stand up by themselves ;D
