Fly fishing from VT state row boats only. No shore fly fishing








Loaded with small to medium size brookies. -No big ones caught this year, but they are in there and I've taken them with streamers before.



Dad likes to keep me, his son, company. He can't keep a tight line or set the hook even when told to lift the rod. No brookies for dad...






Pretty place to fish

That's one of only two entirely wild brook trout Ponds with good fishing that I know of in the Northeast Kingdom. At one point in history they had to reclaim it. We basically need the national gaurd to be present at these kinds of ponds at all times to prevent the introduction of warmwater species. Nice report, I'm glad it's still functioning.
