That Place is pretty close to where i am partially from, I didn't realize the potential of Laurel Lake though.

It was stocked in there by the state. Those are the retired broodstocks from the salmon hatchery. They toss them in a few a few of the lakes around MA. www.mass.gov/dfwele/dfw/dfwbdsal.htm

No, they usually don't survive to long once they're in there. The Atlantics in the Great Lakes and others will spawn. Quabin has some land lock salmon in it too. They usually sit down deep so they're hard to get with a fly rod. It's in the spring when they head to the rivers and shallows that you can get them.
I think AgMD goes after those guys, maybe he'll post some tips.
